The Synergy between Governance and Economic Integration in Promoting Female Economic Inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa

The debate on the need for Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries to increase female participation in economic sector has intensified coming into force of Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and good governance. This study investigates joint effects governance (comprising political, institutional governance) integration sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). employs panel data 42 SSA spanning 1996-2020 analysis. empirical strategy uses dynamic System Generalized Method Moments (SGMM) estimation technique. findings reveal that single effect is necessary but not sufficient. Hence, complementing with further enhances SSA. In general, should be a concern policymakers promote inclusion.
